Please note that admission to Willow Oak Montessori Children’s House will NOT result in any preference to obtain a seat in the Willow Oak Montessori public charter school program. All applicants to the charter school program MUST participate in the lottery if the number of applicants exceeds the available seats for a given grade.

The admissions process for Willow Oak Montessori Children's House may begin with your whole family attending one of our Open Houses to learn more about our program or by attending a School Tour. Open Houses and School Tours are designed to acquaint parents of prospective students with the mission of the school, the Montessori philosophy, and its implementation in the classroom. In addition, we also encourage parents to schedule a "parent only" classroom observation to see the classroom in action.

Family Consultations, which are scheduled upon receipt of your application for admission, are designed to allow families a chance to ask questions specific to their children. The prospective student and each of his/her parents/guardians are required to attend. A Family Consultation and a completed admissions application are required for a student to be considered for admission.

Financial Aid

Willow Oak Montessori strives to keep a high-quality Montessori education accessible to as many families as possible.  A limited number of financial aid scholarships are available to the families most in need of assistance, as determined by an independent third-party financial aid firm.  To apply for financial aid, first complete the regular admissions application above and then you will be given the option of completing a separate financial aid application. There is a $45 TADS processing fee to apply for financial aid.

New financial aid decisions are made each year based on the funds available in that year's budget and information contained in the financial aid applications received from families that year. To be considered in the first round of financial aid decisions, please apply as early as possible, but no later than February 28, 2020. Financial aid decisions will be communicated with admissions decisions if received by that date.
